The octopus is a mysterious creature.
Solitary creatures, octopus depend on their eyes to survive in nature. They aren’t able to hear or make sounds. They use color as both camouflage and to stand out. They are highly intelligent and adaptable.
I feel like an octopus sometimes. I mean, don’t we all?
About Me
I have always had a passion for fashion. But I never had access to designer labels or progressive brands. I decided to create my own way. I have always expressed my own personal sense of style on a budget.
During lockdown, I started playing with tie dye, something I hadn’t done since I was a kid. From my first piece, I was hooked. I made things for myself and my friends. But my drive to create continued. Soon, I had so many pieces that I opened my first online store. That led me to do shows. Now I have my own brand.
Secret Octopus is a reflection of me and how I like to see the world.
Collections
Sustainably Upcycled
The future of fashion is sustainability. I upcycled a lot of pieces. That means I scour thrift stores & flea markets looking for gently used, high quality pieces. I also look for new pieces that are dead stock (no longer sold). I like to give pieces a new life and keep them from landfill.
Tees & New Gear
I buy mostly new t-shirts for my work. I feel like the life cycle of a tee is limited and if you buy one of my pieces, I want you to be able to wear it for a long time. Sometimes, I come across new pieces on final clearance. These pieces are super limited and often impossible to recreate.
Choose Your Colors
I take custom orders. You choose the color and the style and we go from there. You can order a custom gift for that special someone-even yourself. You deserve it.
I can do theme sets. While no two pieces will be the same, I do matching sets for family events, bridesmaids weekends, or that team outing.
I can even do custom work for your business.
